Overview

Duplicate Manager Desktop is an application that can be installed on any laptop or computer running windows. It can be installed either on the same machine where you use Power Apps, or a different machine.

With Duplicate Manager Desktop, you can efficiently run jobs involving large datasets or complex matching algorithms (e.g., fuzzy matching), leveraging the full power of your local device without impacting your cloud environment.

It processes duplicate detection jobs on your local device, ensuring your data privacy:

  • Only the minimal data needed for the job is securely transferred to your device.
  • Data is stored temporarily and exclusively during processing.
  • No personal or sensitive data leaves your machine beyond the necessary scope.
  • Results are securely sent back to Power Apps once processing is complete.
