Quick Start
- Install Duplicate Manager
Install the solution from AppSource into your Dataverse environment. - Configure your Environment and Apps to work seamlessly with Duplicate Manager.
- Assign Security Roles
Ensure every user has access to Duplicate Manager’s features by assigning the appropriate roles. - First-Time Opening
Launch the Duplicate Manager App for the first time. - Configure Entities
Set up duplicate detection for the entities you want to monitor:- Create Rules to define which fields to compare, choose matching algorithms, assign weights, and more.
- Set up Duplicate Prevention in Forms to control how and when users are notified (for example during editing or when creating a record).
- Configure Table Views to define how detected duplicates are presented to users.
- Run a Detection Job
Analyze your existing data to identify duplicates at scale. Use the results to review and take action – such as merging, ignoring, deactivating, or deleting records.
That’s it! You’re now ready to detect and manage duplicates in your environment.
